MICHELLE
Hip Hop

Miss Alison likes to think that she “discovered” Michelle. While learning the hip hop routines for “Dance Festival 2000 – A Time to Dance,” she was an immediate stand-out, and appeared to be a dancer with years of training and experience. It was a shock to find that she had never taken an actual class in her life! Miss Alison immediately hi-jacked Michelle and placed her into her into her most advanced hip hop class at Lynn Johntry’s Studio for dance in Lake Stevens, where she became a star pupil and class leader. Up until her departure for college, Michelle served as Miss Alison’s standing substitute hip hop instructor at four different studios. Students, parents, and studio owners all raved about her dancing ability, teaching ability, and rapport with the students. She is a gifted choreographer and energetic performer.

Michelle graduated from Jackson High School, where she participated in volleyball and was member of the Varsity Track team. She just completed her first semester at Brigham Young University, majoring in Sociology, and minoring in dance. She will return in the fall, and hopes to continue dancing with the BYU advanced hip hop performing troupe. Michelle plans on a career as an attorney, and also is an aspiring novelist
