Break Dancing Instruction at Applause StudioWe will not be posting a video of break dance requirements for advancement, as we are concerned about perspective students trying the moves at home and risking injury. Break dance instruction should take place in a controlled environment with an experienced instructor. Additionally, many of the moves should first be learned on mats in order to prevent injuries. Enjoy our video of break dancing highlights from our shows, but please do not attempt to imitate these moves at home! Come and sign up for lessons instead! It is our goal for our Web site to have (by the end of the summer) downloadable lists of advancement requirements, videos of those requirements, and videos of performances for every dance discipline that is taught at Applause Studio (except Break Dancing, for the reason stated above). We feel they will be tremendous tools in elevating the quality of our instruction and in attracting motivated and talented students. |
